I'm based in NYC, but I'm looking to begin investing in multifamily in South East Florida due to family ties (Miami up to West Palm Beach, but looking specifically at Fort Lauderdale, Pampano, Delray, Deerfield, Lighthouse Point). 

It also has central heat and air, along with baseboard heaters.

I wouldn't waste your time on insulation... unless the garage is heated there is zero point to having it. 

Also upgraded the HVAC from the original plan which was just going to be a wall unit to central heat and air.

Hey BP Fam - I'm looking to purchase a SFR near Downtown SLC for my periodic use in winter (big skier) and summer (escaping Texas heat and hiking); but it needs to generate income as an STR when I'm not there.

.- If it's not heated, the comfortable pool season in the Boston area is of course short- Can you charge a pool use fee?

So we thought great we'll install 2 gas boiler systems and separate the heating, I'd done that before and it wasn't too expense.

Heat?
