Ordinary income tax brackets have been expanded, and tax rates in most of those brackets were reduced with the new tax plan.Long term capital gains are taxed at 15% of the gain if you had an annual gross income of 400k ish (i think it's slightly higher).

We normally use a Series(the one DeWayne mentioned) that allows to own properties nationwide and us far cheaper to expand than using traditional LLC's.
