., this I think is longer term implosions as I am seeing people who absolutely should not be buying a home as they have no money buy them sub-to because of little down payment and will eventually lose the property and that is when many whose mortgages are still on the property come out and sue.

Hello , I need some advice for a friend of mine - so my friend is being serviced with a eviction notice for non payment, the notice is dated for Jan 1st - jun 1st quoting 5,000$ but her rent has been paid by housing and was up to date which she has proof it’s paid.

I usually ask for some form the rent roll/rent ledger showing payment history and some form of proof of payment (I'm a bit paranoid) for the last two months (deposit receipts, bank statements, online receipts for payments made online rent portals, etc.)

But what I never hear anyone discuss is how the payments on the HELOC, whether interest only or principal and interest, factor the overall cashflow and return?
