After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I kicked my financial education into gear, taking control of my personal cashflow management for the first time ever, and began to develop a much greater sense of financial purpose beyond 'pay rent / buy stuff'.Towards the end of 2011 I started my first commercial business, a catering company that targeted week or weekend long music festivals in Australia.

I just closed on a property in West Knox and will be out there to furnish it this weekend. 

I spend my days working as an Engineering Technician in NW Portland and my nights and weekends renovating my first real estate investment, a 1930 cottage. 

Did they have the open house last weekend?

If it snows on Monday- the weekend goes up $100+ a night- things like that make it really hard to trust automation.

Hello all,         I just went to Charlotte last weekend with my sister and her husband to look at a few properties.  

We've got until Dec. 29 to identify our 1031 exchange property, but we don't want to rush into the decision, so we've been spending all our weekends looking at places, both on and off the MLS.

I work full time so am looking to do this on nights, weekends, days off etc.
