They're missing out on the biggest and best feature of investing in real estate, cash flow.Appreciation in single families isn't a good way to reliably make a return, as we learned in 2008-9. 

Is there a way to search for that feature online or is that something I should get a real estate agent to help with?

Most have search features - some are free, others charge. 

You can start using a property management software if it has a good accounting feature.

I called them numerous times throughout the 12 month package I bought.

Its a great place,  Hershey Med/Penn State  is a HUGE employer in the area, along with Hershey chocolate, state capitol in Harrisburg and numerous other good employers .

Better off in terms of rates and loan features.

Make sure they are 100% fluent in English, worked at least 100 hours for numerous people, have a 100% rating, and have been working recently as a VA.
