As we're getting started long distance, we're approaching OOS or long distance properties from more of a turnkey perspective to get started as that might allow us to get experience with minimizing headache from rehabbing from a distance, plus that could potentially allow us to use the turnkey network (property management + their access to recommended contractors, etc.)

Continually learn and network with like-minded people and/or those that are successful in what you want to do and who you meet at local real estate clubs and events that are real and just not a sales gimmick.As an investor you must do the opposite of most others do to be successful. 

I think those two ways will really be able to help you expand your network quickly.

I went to the last TRIG meeting and it was very informative and there were lots of people there to network with.

Step one: Acquire a single family home for 80% of its value then brrrr that property. step two: Repeat until the funds are available for a multi-unit then brrrr it.step three: By this point, I should have a network, I have deals under my belt, and the knowledge to invest into apparments.

Should I wait until I have more of a business structure before I begin to network and build a cash buyer list?
