I hired a general contractor for replacing roof, remodel kitchen and bathroom along with painting and some other work. the whole project is about $ 65k which include materials and labor with a payment schedule . he's been very slow and for three months not getting much done due to he's having a few jobs at the same time .

I like bill's approach.I am on the realtors side of story now in a way.I'm new in town, my good friend just did renovation, not rehab.Just her own project not REI.I saw the work and liked his business model...but contractors are contractors they are "two timers" always looking for the next date.I approached my friend and contractor at her site.

I am hoping to close on my first rehab/sell this Friday.During the inspection period the buyer did identify 2 plugs in the kitchen that have reversed polarity and some wiring that needs to go into a junction box in the attic.

2" PVC pipe drains from the kitchen sinks especially if it has the dreaded sinkerator.I spent 2 days unclogging a 1.5" pipe full of grease & nothing worth while would fit down 1.5" piping to mechanically remove it.
