Hi we are doing a gut remodel in north jersey, we are most of the construction since we general contractors, we have already gutted the house, the house used oil furnace, we have planned on replacing with gas furnace, and installing mini-spits, however now that everything is exposed do you guys recommend perhaps another solution.

Even on only equity, you're essentially paying half of your down payment to the manager by turning that equity over to them though, correct?

Right now, I would characterize myself in the accumulation phase, as I am essentially stock piling cash to be able to put down the down payment and have plenty left over to account for any unforeseen expenses (repairs, vacancy, etc.).My question is, where should I be keeping this cash?

So, the risk is if I can’t do an owner use eviction, I’ll essentially be substidizing the tenants rent every month out of my own pocket.
