I think the mentality of the seller may run along the lines of "I just took a lower asking price for my property and now you're asking me to give you money to close the deal?

I moved here for a better school for my daughter, now I'm moving on to doing something for myself. 

Trump daughter lowered her rent -20%.

When her and her boyfriend moved into my rental with their two daughters that had previously been living with their dad, the carpets, walls, etc. ended up trashed.

Again I went over and the only person available was the brother who, unfortunately, was very nice but also mentally handicapped and could provide me with little information. 

The seller was selling because she inherited the building from her mother who just passed away, and the daughter did not want anything to do with rental properties.  

I have a 3 family in East side Providence, RI close to Brown University.Layout of the units; 3 bedrooms in each unitI have my daughter and her boyfriend living on the first floor,  I totaly renovated the second floor which is the unit I am having issues with And the 3rd floor,, I am trying to evict the tenants there for non payment.. story for another post..

After the inspections, I find out the single female upstairs tenant is the daughter of the seller, and she usually sleeps downstairs, with the single male tenant in the lower unit.

We definitely don't have a get rich quick mentality here as we both enjoy our work and aren't looking to quit within the next few years.

Of course I have been mentally counting my profits since I signed the as is no repairs offer, but we all know thats a myth.well, Home inspection went really well.
