In my research of county owned Tax Liens, I've found a couple that are for the common area of a sub-division (lake and park), and a townhouse community (street and parking lot).If I purchased the lien, and then ended up the the deed, could I say block access for the residents if they didn't pay me for my time, expense and some profit?

Equally important would be payment history at last residence AND the one before.In regards to human resources, you probably need to check your attitude.

In a 2-3 hour radius of where you reside, are there really few opportunities?

I also had a bunch of FHA's back in the day that we had used for purchase money on personal residences that were later converted to rentals.

Not sure as to property values, but for your residents it will be a problem.

Here is the scenario:Person A is a divorcee who is underwater on her primary residence.

I have 2 houses that I rent already but both of them are in my name since I originally bought them as my primary residences and then moved for my job both times and just rented them out to friends and family.
