As a wind energy developer with a lot of experience dealing with restrictive wind-related zoning ordinances, I can tell you that industry participation is critical.

I do agree with @Parker Eberhard but think if you have that kind of energy and would get great satisfaction from building your own home, then go for it.Check the rules where you are as they relate to parking and living in a camper, and or renting a camper.

Perhaps a better use of this energy would be to do the calculation on what happens if you have nearly 100% occupancy at that lowest rate.

I believe they could give you a rough idea BUT make sure you are aware of new energy regulations that mandate solar panels and that PG and E is ok with the location of the power lines.

You were 2/3 occupied with $0 profit, that means when you move out unit #3 is all profit and should make you look like a rock star.

Personally I spend my energy pursuing new tenants not old ones; never sue someone who has no money-my attitude for what it is worth.

@Chad Matthews My guess is that they decide on a metric they feel is worth the time and energy to them of selling and rolling that into/finding a new deal.
