These are all mass repetitive "Contained" environments.Now the next great investment will be Auto over the road trucks, Nano Cancer treatments, Nano crop pesticide reduction, Solar electric surface paint generation, Water pumping technology from the Mississippi River to California/Arizona (reverse Dam management(actually don't recommend this, will cause excess salination of the Gulf)), Certified Individualized Student learning platforms, etc. 

However one thing stuck out like a sore thumb - 5 of the 9 units were on Month to Month leases.  

That does not qualify for 1031 treatment. 

Once of things I am sorely lacking is the "who I know" and that is why I am making this post.I am at the point where I can feel myself getting overwhelmed but I try not to let it get to me because I understand that I am a beginner and these things take time. 

I'm not really sure what agencies to make my complaint that would actually help others from falling to this type of treatment?

Prior owner had professional treatments done, they just couldn't be bothered with the effort required to vacuum the dead ones up afterwards.

There were signs of termites in some old wood in a pile in the back and I had a treatment completed. 

So in many/most/all jurisdictions you'd be giving up favorable tax treatment (homestead, etc.) taking title as an entity.

After a few years of this treatment, some contractors can't even bear to return a call...same old, same old.....
