What they don't know is that the house has been deemed unsafe by the city and we've talked to the building commissioner to hault tearing down the property.Our understanding is that the bank will have to send out a broker to appraise the house in order to move forward.Is there any way that we can assist the process and for lack of a better word, "convince" Chase Bank that they should accept our offer or at least negotiate with us?

That’s not a problem if you leave it alone or cover it with more siding but if you have to tear it down you’ll pay a premium for asbestos.

Unless they were all replaced very very recently, that means they'll require that you underground power lines, tear up and re-pour sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, potential overlay the street, and anything else bordering your property.I've never heard of a "condo conversion planner" but I suppose a good one has experience doing these things and can give you definitive answers.Disclosure: I've never done a condo *conversion*, but have gone through the subdivision and mapping process several times in the City - I don't have direct experience doing what you're describing, so caveat emptor.

-Full kitchen tear out and rebuild $10000-12000-All new flooring $3000-$4000-Paint $1000-A few fixtures $1500-2250-appliances $4000-roofing $6000-8000-Siding (is a maybe depending on how the rest of the neighbor looks) $3500-5000-deck repairs $1000- garage door $800-1500- Bothroom upgrades $3000Depending on the lay out we would be looking at doing master suite with a Bathroom.
