I've mostly been an information gathering ninja here, even as of current, but after watching about 2 dozen or so podcasts, one of the reoccurring themes stated is to become one w/ the community n to mingle w/ an empty Heineken in hand (which I hadn't drank) that I will fill up w/ water later.

One last thought to consider is if it is in a historic zone they can be very challenging to satisfy since they will want to keep the original themes of the era.

Everything is unique and you'd really have to take a magnifying glass to the envelope/letter to be able to tell it was printed with software.I also use NetStamps, print them out at home in bulk as needed, at the moment I'm going with the fall seasonal theme but will be using other stamps for different seasons and times of year.

Flesh out the details, look for common themes throughout them so you know what kind of characteristics to do searches for.With an idea in your head of your ideal 5 and a list of characteristics you can sign up for use www.twellow.com which is like a searchable twitter directory where you can follow people you would like to follow you back.Josh is right, putting together a concentrated list can be just as much work as building one anywhere else, but having this list can help because your tweet stream from people you follow will give you a less fettered view of relevant tweets.If you look at Wendy Patton's twitter account you can tell she autofollows and has quite a staggering number of followers.
