Spend some time considering how the repairs will get you a return on investment.

Start with your budget then think about location.This is a really vague question. 

You’ll spend more time learning how to manage than you will actually managing something.

Profitable months cover non-profitable months, so budget and expect it.

You’re going to spend hundreds replacing the fridge and then spend hundreds per year on bottled/filtered water instead of paying a plumber a couple hundred once?

Let the money stack up until you either want to buy another SFH and do the same thing, or decide to spend it on a Ferrari.Just my 2 cents.I can’t argue.

However, I’ve witnessed cases where the investor went “all in”, spending and losing many millions.  

Many voucher holders also work and so sometimes they will have a higher amount to spend than someone who doesn’t work because they can pay up to a % of their net income from the HA’s calculations, often 30-40%.
