I've seen what they do from the back end and I think they're pretty darn good - definitely worth interviewing.  

We buy from a wholesaler who estimates the after rehab value as well as the rehab cost.The manager would be responsible for viewing the properties, closing on them, interviewing the contractors, taking bids, paying the general contractor, turning utitlies on and off, obtaining the general permit, coordinating the different personell etc.  

I would suggest that you interview several Realtors and ask them the following questions, to ascertain if they are truly Investor Friendly, or if they are throwing you a sales pitch.1.

And do they have any existing prospects for employment, interviews lined up, etc... or are they moving blinding and hoping it just works out?

I've been engaging informal informational interviews with friends, property owners, and knowledgeable individuals within my existing networks but have not had enough, IMO, "hands on" learning yet.

Now the board wont interview any potential buyer until we had the commitment from the bank for his mortgage.

It's also apparent we need to improve our tenant interview process.

Make sure you interview them and get a feel for them.
