Seems like a hassle to remove cameras from inside every time a guest is coming.Outdoor cameras are good for near the front door but otherwise keep them out of areas people will gather or near pools/hottubs.I have the Eufy cameras (solar) near the door and Schlage Connect Z Wave locks.

I stopped reading after your tenants letting people who are not on the lease live there.

There have been so many changes to make people with bad credit look good they should be fine without this change. 

In my area people are generally only house hacking duplexes or houses with ADUs.

So don't be confined to just areas/markets that you know people in!

agreed. what I see is a major issue with used homes is plumbing and people NOT doing sewer scopes on their home inspections.. 

The challenge with unsafe areas is (1) potentially higher cost of maintenance such as broken windows, etc. and (2) this is by no means meant to be discriminatory but anecdotally from people I've spoken to the challenging tenants tend to be at the lower price points.
