Here is my young "vicious" beast lady, being socially awkward on the couch (anyone who likes "Doctor Who" is generally socially awkward...), adopted shortly before she otherwise would have been executed for the crimes of human idiots with mean hearts:

I don't like to volunteer anything, but if asked, I will usually answer openly.What I find awkward is that when people hear you invest in real estate, they'll usually ask how many properties do you have. 

Hey Gary,  I know It's a little awkward because you're coming in and tightening things up from the prior lax owner, and wanting to run it like a business but just explain that to him, that you need to protect your interests.

I guess I could have told him I would hire my own carpenter instead of the guy he wanted to bring in, but that would have made the relationship with the painter kind of awkward.

It would be a pretty awkward place to live in.
