I know other investors like other areas, but I think those two areas are notable because properties can be acquired cheaply, but also resold or appraised for good value after renovations.I realize this is an "artificial" boundary, but I tend not to want to invest west of Eutaw Street in Reservoir Hill.

Additionally, we hoped to use an FHA loan on a property in California once we were done paying for my school and thought that having a rental property would knock out that option.We did discuss it though- I'm trying to make sure that I'm not throwing artificial barriers in my own path since I know that's an easy thing to do to distract oneself from actually making difficult decisions and taking concrete action.

I know some auction platforms only allow the banks to participate (auction.com) and I think it sometimes artificially inflates the price because Joe Homeowner cannot sell his home on the most popular online auction platform but his bank can if he decides to walk away from his mortgage.

Hi David,Czech crown is currently artificially week (Czech National Bank's intervention - see comments in English http://www.cnb.cz/en/monetary_policy/weakening_kor...) but this year it is reported to end, this would mean strengthening against foreign currencies.
