If you are new and want to go about if on your own, and your Uncle or Brother or Friend is not your GC, expect what's called in business "Bad Debt Expense" which means essentially that you need to lose money until you learn how it's done and get proper ppl in place.Good Luck.

The interactions were mainly me sending places I wanted to go look at, and making offers with very little guidance from them, ultimately only to lose out on the bid.All in all, I've learned that being this early in my investing journey, I need an agent who is not only familiar with investing (or is an investor) but will reciprocate the same dedication and drive. 

So they will end up losing them in foreclosure and get nothing It's stupid really.

My simple math suggests that you probably have to shell out $600k in cash (25% down + furnishing, travel, and make ready costs) for the privilege of losing $1,000-$5,000 per month.

But honestly, you have nothing to lose by reaching out.

If you don't know the dynamics in an urban area, then you are likely to lose money.
