I believe there are a wide variety of ways that you can invest in real estate as you know. 

Rehabs range from a quick kitchen/bath/flooring remodel to a full gut. 

I have gotten 4 quotes so far and the premium ranges from $640-$1,000 a year.I'm purchasing the property for $60k although market value is about $95k.Not sure how much coverage I should have on it.

The property that I have assembled is approximately 700 acres surrounded by homes ranging from $400k to over $2 million.

We like having someone local just in case but perhaps in the case of a more hands off deal (NNN) we don’t need to be located within driving range of the site.Are there certain locations or MSAs you have in mind that would be a better fit for our goals?

I know it will not be the 2-3% because it is not owner occupied, but does that range sound accurate? 

I am being told the appraisal is in the low $5m range.

As you can see in the image, there is a note stating "15 ft wide unimproved lane as referenced in deed, dated Dec 1818."

New to RE investing and being a landlord – we're doing a cross-country move, and considering keeping and renting our current home instead of selling, but I think the numbers don't bear out, and wanted to get some advice:- Charlotte NC, Purchased for $420k, Current value ~$600k- ~$260k left on a 20-year 2.5% fixed mortgage, $1850 monthly payment including all escrows- Rent would be $2500-$2700 range currently- Would definitely need a property mgmt company as we'd be 3 timezones away!
