I went house hunting today and saw a house in the town next to mine.

With a HUGE push from my wonderful wife, Krista, I went off on my own.I started Rogo's Handyman Service LLC in 2007 because I was just SO TIRED of working 50+ hours a week for PEANUTS while my bosses were making a killing on my work....AND in their real estate properties as well.It has been about seven years now and while I am still in business, I am NO where near where I want to be financially and still struggle day to day.

The area it is in has no other choice than increase in value, and any monies I will invest will get a decent return now in today's market.  

I would never survive that experience today :)

Actually limited service is preferred today, selling room nights is much more a real estate play than running the business of meeting space/restaurants etc.  

Would you recommend someone local or with todays technology does it matter? 

I've read a lot of info on BP today about this, too.
