If you pick up just one side you could file for a partition lawsuit to split your portion from the whole or try to hunt down the other party to make a deal or get them to agree to partition the whole.   

I'd really like to hear the opposing sides.

The economy is growing, companies are hiring, and the housing market is hot, with this suburban enclave spreading farther into the Mojave Desert.But the recovery has been uneven.Although the Las Vegas area is booming, the middle class is still getting squeezed.Steady growth across the country has lifted the stock market and corporate profits.

I know that I should not push this to the side or procrastinate.

Now if you know the boiler will also have to replace soon, that may just make it worth switching to mini splits.What about hot water?

This set of tenants completely shocked us (trying to hide things they broke, then actually going as far as stating they left the home in better condition than when they moved in, the father had a verbal confrontation with a female neighbor, they were not paying for trash for over a year and were stuffing the neighbor's bins with their own trash, leaving piles on side yard behind gate, etc.).
