Make sure the HOA is in good standing -hate to find out (after purchase), there's a $10k special assessment or something in the works making it difficult to resell or becomes a profit eater.

The problem is, rehab prices are going to vary based on a number of things:- Location- Exit Strategy (Rent, Resell, etc)- Level of Finishes- Type of Contractor (GC, Sub, Handyman, etc)- Scope of Work (hiring a guy to install a toilet and nothing else will be more expensive than having someone who is doing a bunch of work on the house install an extra toilet)- Etc...The best way to figure out what these things will cost YOU is to talk to local contractors and and them what they charge.
