Office space itself may not be a very hot commodity for the foreseeable future, but if you can find tenants that have to have a physical presence then you should be fine.I also disagree with what some one said about mom and pops being hard to deal with.

My focus towns and the locations within those towns that are evaluated all have a proximity to natural resources that can be advertised, such as beach, bike path, hiking trail, etc as well as nearby coffee shops or pubs.

If you don't have an easy way to look up the parcel number, research can be a bear. 3rd party list provider might give you physical address, name and address of the owner, tax appraisal value, link to a map, minimum bid and maybe even more info.On the list of delinquent taxes, chances are you might have to pay for this.
