Compare that to buying an older home and the furnace goes out right after you move in, the plumbing is ancient and the inspector somehow failed to notice the large stress cracks in the foundation.It has only been a few months that I have been living in my home and everything has been working out great so far!

you might talk to the area building inspector to see if they will look for anything particular. 

When my parents went to go make an insurance claim, the inspector found evidence of previous water damage and mold and decided they would not cover the damages.

I invest in Indianapolis,  but any college town or NW Indiana are good options as well.

Also I'm 29, resides in Indianapolis, $60k a year job, hardly any debt, and have about $1k a month worth of expenses. 

I am closing on my first property and received some valuable information from the general home inspector.

Some electrical inspectors will not allow it.
