I don't have a background in real estate but I'm looking to gain some deep knowledge and start investing.

I realize that San Diego is not ideal for starting out, and I don't have very deep pockets but trying to do a pros/cons and assessment of my options:Here's what I've come up with:1.

I am pretty deep into the Bagley neighborhood, but dont know of any multi units on the block you specifically stated on Greenlawn.

There's a wealth of information out there and I suggest you just dive in! 

I have a name and number for a great guy there who doesn't just tell you "no" right off the bat and he dives in and tries to make your plans work.

A REI elder of mine is deep on it, but I’m stuck trading the ES today.
