I was actually thinking about moving any future sales proceeds into Direct Equity Investments like Realty shares, patch of land, Etc.

Something I learnt a long time ago, is the best time to start out in a new direction, is when you have no choice. 

I tell them to call the contractors directly and get it the problem fixed if it is under $200.

Still room to negotiate though but not directly - never directly. 

Is it too late to go another direction?
