I've been running the standard should make 3 times the rental price, I run credit, background and criminal checks and after someone applies, I send out fax for prior work history and landlords.

The leads for these guys come from lead generation criminals who find susceptible folks who actually fill these forms out thinking they are going to win a contest or prize.With the internet ,  FB, Linkdin, BP , CI  etc  etc.. these scammers don't need to even buy leads they simply place adds here or what most do is just troll the forum and respond to someone who is looking for money..
