These are going to be vacation rentals too so the benefit is a longer term play, I won’t have a ton of immediate equity to refinance out of the I/O loan to pay off investors after construction is completed.

I keep my L/O pretty simple.

.- Rates readjust annually after 10 years - stays I/O- Half a point to close- Under 67% LTVReducing my blended rate from ~5% to 3.625% and eliminated principle payments is going to save me ~$13k per month.

I will check out Schedule C o E and see if there is anything I can use.

Note: you can only buy as a o/o every two years.

There is likely a reason to the resistance, so you might not want to push too far unless you are willing to get an answer you don't want and you also risk having everyone on bad terms w/o anything changing.
