I don’t really plan on changing anything in the near future.

If your highest tax bracket didn't change from one year to another,  it is pretty much a wash. 

Once she sees income her attitude will change; just have to get that first pickle out of the jar!

The thought occurs to me (and maybe just for discussion):Why not change the lease to a yearly lease and not a monthly lease so the money is yours from day one?  

I've been using the same insurance agency for many years, but they recently changed the company name and staffing. 

If those factors change, I may consider changing.
