Hi everyone, I'm brand new to flipping houses and am trying to learn as much as possible before taking the plunge.  

My wife @Catherine McGinnis and I have sent thousands of mailings to two different farms over the last couple of years, mostly in the form of postcards.Direct mail in L.A. is expensive, especially in luxury markets, and hasn't really driven any direct deals that we are aware of for us or other agents I know, but it may have helped us with branding which has led to referrals coming from one of our farms.

We did not pursue the development of the homes, figuring that local builders carried a better brand name then we would.  

I'm brand new to the investing world and am wanting to connect with investors who have made wholesale deals in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City area.

Your tenant is brand new.  

Businesses are more sensitive to price competition, branding, marketing, staffing, etc.

What look like pretty nice ones if not brand new.

What I would like to market and brand myself as is a helper and problem solver of the various struggles that people have that creates opportunities for someone like me to help.So far I have thought of the title "Real Estate Consultant" I would specifically like to not advertise as a real estate business which is implying I'm an agent or investor as of right now.

For instance one area 25 miles north of my area is cheap work because it's economical and cost effective in. 25 Miles South people only want the best and use a company for their name because of the quality and brand "My house was built by Abc construction" and people know that company's quality and will pay 10,000 and 20,000 more for that reason alone.thanks for your input its a sad thing that fine woodworking is not desired as much as it's used to.have a good one,John
