To further flesh out my question.. in the interm, the time between when the bank buys the house at the auction and when they lists it with an agent to sell, can you get the property through other avenues- such as going through the previous owners.

I found one that tell me he has half of his properties from sheriff sales (auctions you don't see the properties) and half up to 48 hours from appearing in the mls.
