But to me it isn't obvious whether the existing appliances can be depreciated on my taxes since they weren't explicitly purchased (i.e. they weren't itemized on the purchase contract) by me when purchasing the bldg but they were included when I took ownership.And if the answer is yes the existing appliances can be depreciated then does that also apply to other non-appliance items such as the bldg roof or the 3 furnaces in the basement that are used by the first floor storefronts?

Please provide answers by applying them to a $50,000 purchase price.NOTE: My answer, in which I think is wrong, is for that $50,000 purchase at 8% for 6 months would be $666.70(I rounded it up)($50k x .08/6) - For 12 month term: $50k x .08/12= $333.30(I didn't round it)

Loss of Jobs applying the expected downwards pressure while the destruction of over 2400 structures by the fire in 2016 has resulted in a building boom that will continue into the rest of this year.Almost half of my workforce never returned after the fire when the entire city was evacuated.
