I've looked at credit repair and I may go down that road once everything is paid in full.

This creates problems down the road when someone wants to sell their interest or dies. 

@Isuf AruciIt’s up to you if you want to create a legal entity, it would give you a greater level of protection for you and your finances later down the road if ever you get into some type of litigation.

I can afford to go a few months without a regular salary.Can a few months off have any impact on my ability to borrow money down the road (after joining the 9-5 workforce again)? 

Some made positive cash flow on my analysis but just did not feel right - for example: one had an tall electric pole in view which I'm sure will deter renters and future buyers, 3 or 4 of them backed into a busy road, etc...

There is really no sense in kicking the can down the road, when you will potentially end up worse off in the future....just do the right thing and replace the counter tops.

Does the building happen to be in Cleveland on Buckeye Road?

Cleaning house and getting your own tenants may also be in order down the road. 

Pushing this to even more units I think will actually hurt your marketability of the property down the road.
