And that there is no way lowes can put a lien on my house if a contractor buys a faucet fixture or drywall or screws and doesn't pay their store card off (the store cards are credit cards after all and credit card companies would have no claim against my home).The logic of it just made zero sense to me.

I am already into this over $2k, and I fear they didn't actually fix anything and I got screwed and am likely just out that money.I did call the city and they will inspect their side of the line (up to the point it breaks off to my house) for free, but I have not heard of my neighbors having any problems so I don't know if this would do anything.

you people are greedy, and essentially a scourge. you know you can make perfectly fine returns doing conventional LTRs....but apparently that isn't enough and you want to run an illegal BnB out of your house without any permits.rent your units LAWFULLY and don't screw over your neighbors, your neighborhood and your city.

Sounds like your real estate agent should remain your real estate agent and maybe stay as your property manager, but in no way would I cut them in on a deal where they are finding you a tenant that you're ultimately going to screw over.

Yeah, the agent screwed up as he should have been more diligent, and you screwed up because apparently you didn't realize the statement you were reading was for the Principle balance only, without the years of deferred interest, taxes, force placed insurance, etc., or you took the sellers word for it, both your fault.

I have a house with many small and big holes , screws pooping out of drywall,  and scraped pop corn ceiling.im planning on putting knock down up myself and I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out the extent to which I should prep the wall?
