It was a forclosure and needed a little work...did the big stuff the first month then  I rented out rooms like roommate situation (but didn't live there but could come and go) for the first 8 months to complete the minor renovations and decorating etc.

Also cat urine is far worse as far as I am concerned with clean up.Anecdotally, I had a roommate with a pitbull; this dog was one of the sweetest, most well trained dogs I have ever known.
