Stick with non-porous Formica.If you definetly want higher grade material for appraisal purposes, choose Quartz - it's non-porous and does not need repeated sealing.

I spent $30 on the 3 credit checks and 2 failed with an F credit score and one came in at a C - (you will see the grades are based on the credit score on the Equifax report).

If you want to get it done once and for all, get a landscape or engineer to check the grade and flow and find the correct way to stop the water.
