First thing is to know the local Law based on the Rental Lease that you hold.

@Taylor, building the two single family homes you referenced, are you doing it on already developed lots in a speced neighborhood that just sells lots you build on or did you buy the land and develop from raw, put in utilities, etc....Trying to find a reasonable way to start gaining experience building/developing 

Knowing it, is based on numbers with $$$ in front, not %%% behind. 

Hi guys -  im based in the SF Bay Area and looking to invest in some SFR's in Dallas with a partner.

I also spoke to my realtor about possible rent and she said based on my location alone I could get $1700-$1800 for a studio/1BR. 

I own approximately 30,000 square feet of land in the LA area, and a developer has expressed interest in either purchasing or co-developing the land.

The property is being sold as raw land below its tax-assessed value.
