I am an investor, self managing landlord, and GC, I specifically don't Want to get a realtor license so I’m not considered a real estate professional for tax designations so when I periodically sell something, I still qualify for long term capital gains.

Listing the home for sale will be $169K  Then I threw it on a website for rental at $2200 and there was alot of interest in renting it (and from what I could tell they were professional/career people which is typical in the area).

You could have five different taxes or so in Harris county....county, cit, school, hospital, and maybe community college or others.Always close at a title company so they will help you collect and pay off the taxes and any other liens.This is a perfect opportunity for you.

I think there is some fans that will tune out and that will trickle down.. when teams are bad they dont fill the seats.. when they are good everyone is on the band wagon.this is the big question with Raiders coming to Vegas .. but Portland has but one professional team..
