Alright so for actual advice I would find a tenant who can maybe do handyman work or keep the grounds clean, etc for reduced or likely free rent.  

That's why I'm trying to get in to something within real estate that generates more freedom for me, specially now that I'm getting up there in the age category.

You may not need a lot of money if you go the FHA route. once you generate the cash flow, it will be a cascading effect.

They still generate a solid $500 per month in cash flow.
