So not only are the prices hurting you (avg sales price up 17% in same time frame) the rents are so high that anyone that has owned those multiunits is finally getting the rents that are allowing them to cashflow well!

Lending is highly regulated, much more so than RE, knowing what you might have done as a borrower doesn't mean you can simply turn the table and act from the other side of the table.
