Eventually things will cool off, rising interest rates are a double edged sword.... it means everyone does pay more in financing but it also reduces the upward pressure on pricing and will make more distressed deals appear for various reasons.

We only hold the properties for a few months so it shouldn't be a massive issue but adding in that buffer of a potential market cool off is important. 

I do agree with the sentiment though, that perhaps there is a desire by the feds to cool some of the hotness in the market and to make more housing available for those that want primary homes by making it more expensive for non primary folks.
