The truth is, they should not be mutually exclusive...it's not a matter of this or that...they serve different functions and I personally suggest both.

They still have the opportunity to identify any non-functional issues after move in, with those items being treated as a standard maintenance request once they have settled in, a week or 10 days later (they are advised to make a list of these minor issues, as we will not send out handyman multiple times for minor issues at this time.
