The state you are in determines laws and procedures, but…..1) you can still buy the property from the current owner, if you can make a deal2) the bank will pay the taxes so it won’t go to a tax auction3) if it gets to the lender foreclosure auction, you can a) buy it st the auction or b) if the bank gets it back, buy it from them when it gets to the mls or a REO auction site.
