We plan on selling much higher than what residential properties would typically go for (knowing the commercial interest and demand is growing in the area).One developer in particular even brought up the idea (and basically nonchalantly threatened, imo) that they can go to the City to take our property via eminent domain.Now, that raises some questions.

I know this has been brought up before but it’s been a crazy year for lending so any new advice would be appreciated!

Most likely the state where the property is located is where lawsuits would be brought if they are something for personal injury like a trip and fall or something of that nature because the “cause of action” arose in that state.

It gave me a lot more to consider and brought up some good things for me to be aware of now and in future decisions.

Nope, they brought in low income people who destroyed several units.
