One thing you gotta remember, you aren't the moral police, people (especially if you're doing C/D low income) will burn you, many times over.. roll with it and move forward.

You have a moral obligation to handle your problems, not pass them on to someone else.You're giving Landlord's a bad name and should consider investing in a nice mutual fund.

The inherent conflict in the thread seems clear...Some argue that a landlord has a duty (legal and moral) to enforce the public nuisance laws the moment the landlord accepts a rent check.

You really should do a bit more research before you question the moral character and business practices of someone you have never met. 

we get that all the time. they think that you "will like them so much" and would just lower it to get "good moral character" tenant in there.

I have morals and values and handle myself as such even in real estate.
