Hi, all, I see in this forum many people are recommending form a LLC and use the LLC to hold rental for asset protection purpose.

I would recommend Logical Property Management they are a member here on BP and not only be a good PM but Drew can help you with a lot of knowledge that he has with all the years he has been doing it. 

There is a right way and a wrong way to do a LLC, 99% follow the herd on biggerpockets and think they are "protected" by doing this but all it seems like they are doing is throwing money away by making life harder for themJust my non legal 2 cents on this.

Hi Randal, one of the problems are the loans, when investing in Spain 20% DP is required at the very least.2nd The majority of the Spanish houses are condos so they all carry HOA fees.3rd Demand is an issue, Spain is losing population due to the crazy high unemployment rate, young people are getting out for better opportunities.

A question I have been pondering within myself for some time and figured here would be a good place to get an answer.I currently own a home that has close to 100k in equity in it, we plan to move in 3-5 years to our long term house and would be sizing up a fair amount.So my question is should I use the equity to fund investments/projects, or should I save it and roll it all into my next house so I can have it paid off sooner/lower my monthly.
