I played college basketball and did not have enough income to support such a purchase.

Great for rallying a lot of support, back slapping and atta' boys but, as a potential investor, I'd put a lot more stock in the operator that really dives into the nuts and bolts, pulls the veil back a little and gets ahead of my objections and concerns well before I think of them myself.  

They are very supportive of my rentals.

Tenants like to think of themselves as being on the same plane as the landlord and certainly not as dependent, in need of support, charity, etc.

I´m starting with investments in real Estate in US as a foreign person, so a lot of support is required due to living abroad.

I am a former franchise owner (2 stores in NC) and I can tell you they are seasonal and from our experience opening in in NC (Franchise started in PA and is better supported there) there were major challenges.  

I appreciate all the advice and support.

If you guys are living together, I don't really feel it's morally wrong to split expenses(including rent), if anything that's going to help both you reach your financial goals quicker by supporting one another and working as a team.

I love supporting small businesses, trying new restaurants/cafes and just overall a curious and proactive person. 

Wa state has the cheapest power in the country and it works out great, our properties can support the load.
