Should I paint the backdrop white and put vinyl planking, or will this cost too much money?

I made that mistake of telling my mom everytime an offer was accepted on a house, to when we closed, to when we put in new flooring, fixed a roof, painted, had an issue with a tenant etc.

New interior paint, exterior deck paint, new roof over deck, newer appliances throughout, additional bathroom and living space, additional conforming bedroom, remodeled bathroom.What was the outcome?

I have been remodeling and using paint, acetone and paint stripper, but I do not think that is the reason being as I have done this before and nothing happened.

I am also looking for a property that I can add value to with some sweat equity (paint and carpet, not a full rehab). 

What is everyones opinion on using neutral beige paint colors in a home vs. using a neutral grey tone.

Purchase price: $12,500 Mobile home bought in a 55+ community, replaced the roof, all new flooring, brand new kitchen with granite countertops and freshly painted.

I’ve thought a lot about both approaches but the property I am thinking of fixing up is in the family and is technically not mine yet and aside from needing upgrades it has other problems associated with it.I am currently living in the property I've made some upgrades to the kitchen, bathroom, exterior and interior paint and I’m paying $500 rent that goes towards taxes.

You did not screen these tenants and don't really know their background outside what the seller told you who had motivation to paint a bright picture to sell.
